another pillow...

Sentimental Pillows...

this one has a reeeeeaaallly old cut-metal shoe buckle that i stitched on...
it reminded me of a key-hole, so I added an old skeleton key that I had
(from my collection of probably hundreds!)

Mother of Pearl buttons encircle the buckle with a heart shape....

and I added a tiny sprig of vintage corsage flowers to the side-top...

would this be loverly as a wedding or anniversary gift?

the weather people said possibly snow again, but we have cold temps and warm sun...
I'll take it!

I'll be stitching up a little paper-mache doll today,
just a sweet faced little girl in an old-fashioned dress...
I haven't made a doll in forever,
and didn't want to just make a stuffed one,
so that's where the paper mache head, hands and feet come in...

I'll post pics of her later this evening~
