Pictures of the Shop and a Giveaway!!!

Hi Everyone!
I'm hoping that you can come for visits often, as I've been known to post more than once a day!!!
as promised, here are some pics for you:
~ a Sneak Peek of the shop ~

the bedroom, above,
is becoming my favorite place in the shop,
with all of the different vintage fabrics!!!

vintage crocheted pot-holders make a
swell little valance in the 'kitchen' of the shop!!

we've named the white enameled wood-stove 'Pearl'...

the front counter/display case is chock full of vintage hats,
purses, jewelry and boxes!!

a peak into the 'kitchen' area of the shop...
would you like cream and sugar with your tea?

~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~::~

I'm also holding a giveaway here at my new blog!!!

if you would be so kind as to leave me a comment on this post, regarding the pictures, changes being made to my shop, just saying 'hi!' ...whatever!!!

be the 7th person to comment, & I'll send you one of my hand-made soldered pieces..this one is 5" x 7", collaged with old photos, pretty floral papers and inspirational words...silver soldered, and hung from a length of vintage ribbon!!!!

So, please tell me what you think of the changes taking place at Notforgotten Farm...and please be kind??

Hi Lori ~ I'll be happy to be the first person to comment on your new blog!! At the From Our Hands show a couple of years ago, you purchased an intersting basket from me that had little baskets hanging all over it!! And I just bought your Herb Angel pattern from Kris at a hook-in ~ can't wait to do it!!
I love the crocheted potholder valance ~ that is darling and give me ideas, of course!!
Glad you're feeling better ~ one of my daughers-in-law had that done a few years ago and has never regretted it once!! Take care!

Hi Lori, I just love the look of your shop. It takes me back to wonderful times at my grandmothers with all the linens and a teapot nearby ready to pour at a moments notice for family & friends. Every afternoon Nana would have tea and sweets . Glad you are feeling better. I will keep looking for new pictures of your shop on this new blog. Carolyn Boutilier

Darn... I missed out on the contest! But I have to comment anyway, because I wish I could jump right into that case with all the hats and fripperies. I have been known to sport a silly vintage hat from time to time- the most memorable was one Easter Sunday, being the only one in the ENTIRE congregation with a hat, and it was no small cap. I couldn't keep the grin off of my face all morning... If I could, I'd come raid your case on your grand re-opening day!
