everyone's in the mood ~

...for pumpkins!!!
(I know I am)
can't wait to see the plump, orange orbs decorating the porch and gardens this year...
hopefully we will have a good harvest, but not sure because we've needed so much more rain.

but, if I can't grow 'em, I can sew 'em!!


wool, calico, homespun...
cotton, linen & muslin ~ all types of pumpkins are being made in my little sewing room
(which right now, I'm referring to it as 'the patch')





I love how these look in my old bowls ~
set next to my huge trencher filled with last year's actual harvest.






of course, they still need their stems ~
and some will get sweet little stitched faces too.






Hmmmm,....
I wonder how many I would have to make to fill up my trencher?

One can never have too many pumpkins...these are sooo sweet! Just printed out your free pattern, not sure I can make the deadline this quickly but hey who knows?? So good to be back, need to jump over to Samplermakers too. Missed this so much! Looking forward to all your posts again ~Kriss~
