Hi Lori and what a fabulous find. I just love ticking too and it makes wonderful curtains. I love ticking so much I stripped some very old stuff from 2 mattresses my friend was getting rid of from her 103 year old aunts place. Yep I really did!
I hadn't seen that color combination before though and I love it!Unique.

Lori, Love the new fabric! If you still have uncovered windows, take a look at my blog a few months ago. I'm using painters dropcloths as drapes! Everyone thinks they are linen!! Just buy the heavy cotton drop cloths (Lowe's are best) throw them in the wash on hot, plenty of fabric softener and dry in the dryer. They are soft and ready to hang! I just folded the top over and made a "self made valance", tore the bottom~no hem, and hung with rings! They would look cool hung with wire too, but you'd have to sew a pocket for the wire. My way, no sewing and all the edges are already hemmed~except where I tore the bottom length.
Hope this helps!

Hi Lori:) Our local quilt shop recently got a bolt of this great ticking, I got a yard for stash. It's not the standard width though, it's tea towel width. Love it. Hope you have a great weekend.
