a hookin' we will go, a hookin' we will go...

The
Blue Ridge Rug Hookers
were at it again today.....

(Pat Cross showing us her humongous 8 foot x 20 inch runner)
we hooked, punched, laughed and got serious...

(beautiful colors of wool yarn in this rug)
we chatted and admired one another's handwork...

we had Show 'n Tell.....

(Jane's handwork below)
we ate lunch and decided that we need to have
a "Hooker's Hallowe'en Party"
complete with green & black food,
...seasonal delights and..
...dare I say it?
COSTUMES????!!!
oh ~
you can bet your
Broomstick
I'll be there with Bells on!!
Felicia and Robin didn't make it today,
and boy...we did miss them...
... because we were feeling SO bad that they couldn't attend,
Jane and I went shopping to alleviate our sorrows...
yepper...
shopped at Cottonwood Quit Shop
in C'ville
(Charlottesville, VA)
I, personally don't need anymore fabric.
....ever.
but,
somehow, fabric shopping is a fix for me!
...and we do feel much better now!!!
(please visit www.midnightfarm.blogspot.com
to see more of our shopping adventure and a WICKED-ly cool rug!!)
Blessings from the Farm,
Lori

Such a fun day!! It's amazing how "strangers" can quickly feel like friends when you're sharing a passion.
Thanks, Lori!

A bunch of friends getting together who all love the same thing over lunch, it doesn't get much better than that! Lucky you.
