I can't possibly spend time on vacation without the things I love most!
some folks bring their favorite pillows with them when they go away~me?
oh...I bring my favorite scissors...
about 6 pair.
(we've talked about this "scissor" problem I have before, remember?)

Mom's 80th birthday will be on June 30th...but we'll be celebrating it on the 29th,
with a gathering of my siblings, nieces & nephews.

I know exactly what you mean! Whether I'm gone for an overnighter or for a week, I have to take along some sort of stitching!

love the embroidery box you are using...all the goodies insde too...where in Mass. will you be going? There are several needlework shops in the Worcester County area...Tell your Mom very happy birthday:have her make a wish & it wiil come true :)
Oh, I so understand what you mean... When I travel on vacation or even to dinner at a friend's house I have to take linen and thread to stitch with... There is something comforting about that, isn't it?
