~ A different Kind of Playing Hooky ~

Hello!

…well I’m sharing my first ever finished granny stripe scarf, with the first scalloped border I’ve ever attempted!!! ~ I’m pretty happy with it!
(and of course I had to add a few crocheted flowers to the ends for whimsy) ~

I didn’t use a pattern per se, and just winged it mostly, but I’ve watched and thoroughly enjoyed learning from numerous tutorials from @meemamakes, @moorlandcottagecrochet & @beelori1 ~

((don’t look too close, there are definitely numerous dropped stitches, miscounts and my tension needs work - but I’m loving this new crochet adventure I’m on!))

I’m not sure what the yarn was that I used,
• but think it is a variegated Noro,
• the purple scalloped edging is I Love This Cotton in french lilac,
• and the flowers were worked using 2 strands of size 8 @valdani_threads perle cotton.

♥️thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement!

Blessings from the Farm
