Of course it can...
how silly!!!
I use purple in ALOT of my work...
all different hues and shades find their way into my workbasket and into my designs ~
especially love the 'dusty' shades...
vintage velvets, hand dyed woolens ~
...and when i can find them, I hoard cotton fabric in these same shades ~
preferrably the reproduction Civil War era prints.
here are photos of some of my previous works ~
...all including hints of purples :
needlefelted witch pocket with hand dyed wool roving
(in private collection)
Jasper, a needlepunched tomcat pillow
(in private collection)
my Sunflower Witch design - hooked rug
(hooked and color planned by Pat Cross)
tiny mohair bear carrying an even tinier needlepunched pocket
(in private collection)
mixed media painting Witch with Goat
(in private collection)
and I have many more snaps, but won't bore you!
Oh, and of course, the pics above are "Hallowe'en-ish"
because that's my favorite thing to do!!
How do you incorporate purple into your work??
Do you use purple at all?
:)))
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has purchased my fabric from
SPOONFLOWER...I am overwhelmed by the great response and hope you all like it and will find fun ways to use it...
PLEASE send me your photos of your work using my fabric and I'll share it here on my blog for all to see!!!!
Blessings from the Farm!
