~ PSS Retreat 2018 ~

Hey Ya'll!
...we are back from a most fabulous
Prim Stitchers Society Retreat and Merchant Mall!

the beautiful Red Lion Inn in Harrisburg, PA is where the retreat was held ~
a lovely place for friends to gather and the hotel & restaurant staff
 could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

I took lots of photos, but here are my favorites for you ~
no particular order, as I was like a kid in a candy shop there :)

yes, those are tiny little tomato pincushions on Stacey Bear's sweet shoes!

this was such a wonderful retreat once again pulled off by
Terri Hall {Dixie Samplar}, Ridgely Johnson, Michelle Acosta & Cathy Tonelli ~
Thank you girls for your hard work :)

Thank you also to those retreaters
who were brave enough to sign up for my punch needle {needle punch} classes!
we have fun don't we?!!

Many thanks to the shoppers who visited Joan & I in my booth!
loved seeing you all ~

I did manage a little retail therapy while I was there,
the beautifully spooky-sweet Lela May project bag with the 'Witchy' design on the front
from the Primitive Needle {RIP Lisa Roswell}
and the small tramp art comb box made from an old fruit crate from a local antiques mall...

but, LOOK at the beautiful Carolina Stitcher {Faye Riggsbee} project bag
that I was gifted by the PSS girls for being a teacher!
*blush*
PURPLE fabric with the 2018 retreat project attached...
stitched by Terri Hall {Dixie Samplar}
and a wonderful chart for the 2018 PSS Pincushion from Willow Hill Samplings!

**I Need to Mention**
that Miss Faye Riggsbee stitched a beautiful project bag for ALL OF THE RETREATERS!
and I just know that much work and love went into every bag...thank you Faye <3 nbsp="" p="">

but wait ~ there's MORE!
inside my loverly purple bag are all kinds of goodies ~
beeswax, scissors, threads, linen, chart, tack pin,
sheep thread holder and wooly sheep scissor holder, & a magnetic needle-minder too!

the PSS girls also gifted Miss Joan {who, without I would be lost} with a smaller-but-identical version of this bag stuffed with goodies!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I finally found the little scallop edge compote dish
that I have been wanting to use to hold my little scissors...
milk glass with a small pressed floral design.
also found at a local antiques mall in PA!

on another note,
tonight would have been our First Monday Needle Night
{being the first Monday of a new month ~ again!}
BUT
since I am pooped from the weekend's adventure
and my entire shop is still unpacked in the back of my van,
we WILL NOT BE OPEN THIS EVENING ;)
AND TONIGHT!!!

I now have lots of catching up on Etsy orders, pm's, emails and phonecalls this week...
but I have a brain-full of new and exciting designs just waiting to be stitched/hooked/punched for you
from all of the inspiration that Lancaster, PA gives me ~

much xoxoxox to you all,

Blessings from the Farm
 ~ Lori

Thank you so much for sharing so us “west coasters who could not attend” could feel part of the happenings. I would have been stuck in all those racks of fabrics. What heaven!

There are actually a lot of particulars like that to take into consideration. That could be a great point to carry up. I offer the ideas above as basic inspiration however clearly there are questions like the one you deliver up the place the most important factor will be working in sincere good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around issues like that, however I'm certain that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Each boys and girls feel the impression of only a second’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives. casino real money
