a combination of punch & stitch
I have been working on new cross stitch designs in between rug hooking,
punching, appliqueing and painting!

I have been so busy in fact, that my little kitchen garden is full only of weeds ~
buttercups and chickweed mostly!!

to me, even a humble buttercup is most beautiful ~

Hoping your day is filled with simple beauty and creativity ~

Blessings from the Farm

Your Buttercup Garden is beautiful, Lori...and I was just reading an article from the Herb Academy about the antioxidant attributes of the noble (yes, noble!) Chickweed! It is also great for the skin! Love the cross stitch design coming along...and does P.S.S. stand for Punch Stitch Stitch? Wish I could go to PA...

It's raining here (yay!!), and the little Cardinals have hatched and flown the nest! It has been like an aviary in the Three Sisters this morning...so fun to watch. Have a marvelous day!

OMG, sounds wonderful! Is it open to the public?

Isn't the buttercup the very first flower we pick for our mothers? I think this memory is so old that it is just a lovely impression. Thanks for the beautiful photos. Wish I could go to that show in Pennsylvania!

You can eat chickweed! It's great in pesto! Just add olive oil, pine nuts, and parmesan! Good way to use it up! I want to go to Penn but it's a far piece from California!

Ms. Lori....is there a Midwest show? Seems like all the primitive stitching happens on the East Coast. Love living in the Midwest, but missing out on said shows such as you posted. thank you
