Well I'll put my name in the pot. I always check your blog but never comment. I don't do cross stitch anymore and very little embroidery and no punching so don't feel qualified to comment. But I do love the look of all these handcrafts and would love to have the project model.

My favorite thing about spring is the fact that almost without exception for a month or 6 weeks you can go out every day and find a new little plant's nose poking up out of the dirt. Such excitement! It never fails to raise my spirits.

For some reason, as I grow older, the winters seem to grow longer. and here in New York's Hudson Valley, when spring finally arrives, it is like a blessing. My husband and I mark our calendar each year when we see the first robin, and, again when we hear the frogs start to sing. One year, when we were driving home in the rain, the road was suddenly full of little tiny frogs hopping across to the wetlands on the other side like they were going to a party. Happy Spring (soon), Happy Easter, and Happy Passover!

Seeing my crocus peeking through the ground and being amazed how strong they are. They showed up in mid February peeking through the soil and snow only to be covered again by a heavy snow fall. Last week they bloomed for the first time this year. A day later, there was 6" of snow on top of them. The snow is gone again and they are blooming in purple and yellow. Not bad for Canada.
