Rainy Day Finishing ~

The best kind of rain, of course, is a cozy rain.

This is the kind the anonymous medieval poet makes me remember...

the rain that falls on a day when you'd just as soon stay in bed a little longer, 

write letters or read a good book by the fire…

take early tea with hot scones and jam and look out the streaked window with complacency.

and so it is today ~ 

one of those wonderful, makes-me-wish-for-Autumn days.

I am finishing the 

'finishing' on my new project models ~ preparing them for their cover shots and photo shoots…

and this gloriously-dreary day is thee perfect backdrop!

choosing just the right fabrics and finishes for the designs….

I never really have a 'finish' in mind…

they kind of tell me what they want to be once they've been stitched, 

….so I go with it.

who knows?

If I can get them finished and photographed today,

I will share them here tomorrow.

I am excited to show you FINALLY what I've been up to!

I will be releasing a total of

5 cross stitch designs

4 punch needle designs

3 wool applique designs

{ and maybe a few surprises in between }

THEN

I will be holding a little online SHOW here on this blog for a few 

FINISHED GOODS

for my collectors ~

(dolls, pincushions, scherenschnitte, paintings)

I'll share the date for that SOON!
