Joan & I had a great time yesterday in Charlottesville, VA ~
We first visited Cottonwood, a quilt shop located off of Barracks Road…
Here are the fabrics I came home with:
"Reds" ~
Since I will be a vendor at the From Our Hands show in November, I am already working on Holiday & Everyday finished goods… these fabrics will be put to very good use in my creations for that show! |
"Browns" ~
"Harvest" ~
not your idea of 'harvest colors'?? ...think pumpkins, cornstalks & cornsilk… curly stems, vines and leaves and even a crow or two ~ ...see them now? |
"Hallowe'en" ~
I think these are just plain fun and go together so well…. |
{{a dress for a pumpkinfolk-gal perhaps??}}
cotton print fabric with owls, bats, stars…more vines too! and that black tulle? oh….I think I know exactly what I'll do with that ~ |
*******************************
and here's the sneak peek ------->>>>
Felicia finished stitching the model for my upcoming release:
"Reginald Ravyne"
a very dapper-fellow indeed…. |
... is he heading to the corn crib?
don't lose your key Reginald! |
...He has a girlfriend,
"Cornelia Crowe"
she should be finished soon ;)
I am HOPING (operative word here) to release ALL of my new designs
for cross stitch, punch needle & wool appliqué
next week so you can begin your Autumn Stitching ~
keep your eye on this blog for that news :)
Have a beautiful evening my friends ~
* Blessed be *
Lori

I love the fabrics, especially the brown with the bees. That one just caught my eye! You rock my friend. Someday I NEED to come pay you and Peter a visit. Maybe once my brother and Louisea are settled in down there.

Love the fabrics, browns are my favorite. I hate bees, but love the bee fabrics and patterns and such. I am afraid of bees! lol I will be at the show and will look forward to seeing you and what you have done with those fabrics!
