~ A few of my favorite little rugs ~

Hello Friends & Folk!
and a Happy Saturday to you!

What a busy week we've had here at the farm ~
...glad to see the weekend come!

and our weather is surely Fall-ish today too
 with temps in the 70's making this farmwife one happy girl :)

I thought I'd pull out my fall rugs in my collection and show them to you {again}...I just love them so much I am thinking about leaving them up here in my sewing room all year long :

 this one below,
was hooked by Sherry Kristoff in 2014....
and I am not sure who the designer is Pineberry Lane.

this one below was designed & hooked on burlap by Bonnie Stahl in 2005
it measures approx. 6.5" x 9.5"

here's one that was hooked by Lori Rippey {below}
in 2013

this one below was hooked by sweet Sandi Lucero!

 a favorite of mine...who doesn't love a chicken?
this rug was hooked by Julie Butler in 2015
:)

another beauty from Sherry Kristoff, love those spicy colors!
Sherry hooked this in 2011

yet another unsigned rug....but it holds my heart!
love everything about this design and the colors used below ~

and one more rug by Sherry Kristoff below:
simple and primitive.

and this is in my hoop at the moment ~
I'm almost finished with my witch's dress, then will move on to the pig....
the name of this is When Pigs Fly and it will be available to rug hookers on paper and on linen soon!
{I promise}

 So my query is this: ....just where shall I hook?
listening to the chickens clucking near the barn?
quietly on the porch in my rocker?
listening to the buzzbee's on the patio near the garden?
or how about the Keeping Room with my classical music playing softly...

....anywhere I choose will be just perfect.

Blessings from the Farm
 ~ Lori
