I was taking a few random shots this morning,

and was in our pantry taking snaps of the glass oil lamps and old bottles

that sit on a small windowsill in there...

so pretty.

 

 

then I realized what I was seeing beyond the window ~

can you see them?

...they come to the back of the farmhouse

where the salt from our water softener empties out ~

it's their very own personal salt-lick!

 

 

so sweet ~ love baby's spots,

dots and racing stripes...

don't worry mama,
you're both safe here!

after they finished getting their daily sodium intake,

I waited till they left then headed out to the garden:

 



ruff-ly little marigolds

leggy chocolate mint in my old urn

 oh yes ~ there are plenty of weeds...

they don't bother me at all.
