A White Christmas ~ Primitive Farmhouse Style

    ...I thought of you the other day, a friend and I were at a shop that features primitive style items and against one wall she had a mantle, much like yours, and inside she had a prim' hooked rug that "filled in" the bare space in its entirety. I thought to myself how wonderful that would be to have several hooked rugs done in a folky style to change out the seasons for your mantle. I know that would be a lot of hooking for a rug that size but then again, it's just a thought... ;o)
