Trying to make some sense....

I'm sure by now
you have all heard about
the unfortunate passing of
Lisa Roswell ~
aka The Primitive Needle
(www.witchstitches0.blogspot.com)
I just heard the news regarding her untimely passing
...and I just can't wrap my brain around it.
someone so talented in the needlearts,
...so loving that she chose a career in nursing ~
and so very young....
she was on her way to work when her car was swept away by flood waters...
just awful.
My sister Louisea said it best:
she must have been needed somewhere else....
please keep Lisa's family in your thoughts,
she will be surely missed
Blessings from the Farm...
Lori

  1. What a tragedy. This happened about 45 minutes from where I live and it is just incomprehensible. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

  3. Such a sad story -- tough to get it out of my mind -- even though I did not know her at all. Her poor family.... a terrible tragedy.

  4. I heard it on the radio today. They said she was on her cell phone with 911. I didn't know her but, it made me sick. As I write this right now I hear on our scanner of a car in the water. It is the 2nd car rescue in a hour. Don't drive thru the water!!

  5. There is no sense to be made of something like this. Your sister's words however do make sense - Lori was needed elsewhere. I love her designs and have been working on two of them. Such a terrible loss for her family and friends.
