at 5:30-ish last evening,
our little Minew gave birth to her first-born…

by 10:00 pm-ish
she had finished birthing the last of 4 squealing, squirming catkins!!!
2 white with black markings, and 2 striped mini-Minews :)

This was Peter's first experience with a pregnant cat,
and the whole wonderful outcome of watching her have her kittens….

Ooooh, so cute! My cats had kittens regularly, and I was midwife more than once. I also box-trained the little ones and weaned them, before sending them to new homes. I miss those happy times!

ReplyDeleteI loved these sweet pics. I lost my sweet girl a month ago and miss her so. These pics have helped me to remember that life keeps on renewing and made me think that someday soon I will find another furbaby that needs a home and will be a balm to a sad heart. They are the sweetest!
