They're HERE!!!!!

"…They're Here! They're Here!!!"
...sang Mr. Redbird from the treetops this morning ~

"everyone gather 'round!"

"They're HERE!!!"

"huh…?"

"Daisy, stop eating for one moment and listen…"

Toby & Henny Penny are excited to hear the news!!

….everyone is excited to hear the news!!!
well, except the sleepy Guinea Hens ~

Zzzzzzzzzz…...

Buddy & Lazy standing (sleeping) guard outside the 'maternity ward'…

'The Bodyguard'

the excitement exhausted them I guess ;)

'Old Faithful Friend'

 at 5:30-ish last evening,
our little Minew gave birth to her first-born…

~ Welcome Little Ones ~

by 10:00 pm-ish
she had finished birthing the last of 4 squealing, squirming catkins!!!
2 white with black markings, and 2 striped mini-Minews :)

This was Peter's first experience with a pregnant cat,
and the whole wonderful outcome of watching her have her kittens….

a palmful of love...

Have you ever seen a grown man melt?

I have….
(a couple of times)

my gentle husband….

 Thank you Minew,
for allowing us to be a part of your family
...and for gifting us with your friendship ~

Good Mommy

 Sleep tight little ones…
you have a whole barnyard of friends to keep care of you :)

  21. Sweet little ones. I wish my husband was an animal lover. He tolerates our cat and the fact that I feed all the outside kitties and that stray animals seem to find me when they need help. :) I am definitely an animal lover. Have a great day. Tammy
