Over thinking things ~

No wonder my head hurt yesterday ~

I figured it out.....

I totally over-think things sometimes.

I started with this little piece that I hooked yesterday while trying to ease my headache:

it is just a simple fun little design

that I wanted to keep simple & fun...

then this happened:

a few buttons perhaps?

which led to this:

naaaah.....

how 'bout....

nix.

 which of course led me to this...

ugh.

 and finally...

this:

me like....maybe.

 too busy?

 just 'folky' enough?

or just plain too cutesy?

( I don't do cutesy.)

*sigh*.....

there's just  way too much thinking going on over this one....

I want to add some kind of finish to the edge of this too ~

braid? finge? old tattered ribbon or calico?

(((I think I'll remove all of the buttons now and work on the trim instead.)))

wool strips are hand cut with scissors ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" or more...
I love the old look it lends my rugs!

Sooooo ~ 

I'll get me another cuppa tea and think this one over....
