framed.....

I use a Pittsburgh frame for my larger hooking/punching...
 


love that it is collapsable,
and especially love that I can stash my stuff in it's tray under my work!!






scissors, check...hook, check....wool.....check.

and here's what I'm working on...
a tombstone angel with wool pinwheels ~


 
 
these are fun to make and add so much to an otherwise plain rug...
I also beaded a little on the bottom border...

    Love this design and how you have hooked it. I have and adaptation of the pot with circular flowers been on my frame too long only have a small part of the background to finish. I need to move on to something FALL !

    lori, i love the rug! i have always liked this pattern and the angel. you should give a little lesson on making the pinwheels! your frame works well for you! i have a couple rugs going and really need to get them finished. today im binding a quilt for my friends 60th birthday on sat. enjoy your day!

    I'm hooking up some crows and sunflowers! Love your frame, mine comes from The Wool Street Journal. It's not too big, most of my projects are small because I'm always punchin. Oh but I do love those soft strips of wool.

    OH its a beauty Lori. I have actually pulled out my wools and have started to hook a lil mat myself. Feels wonderful...been a few years.

    You always amaze me!
    I have always wanted one of these frames for the portability. RIght now I use a beautiful hand crafted one that swivels by Sonny Frazier (Alice Frazier's husband) . . . We all need more than one right?
    And truth be told...I hardly ever get any hooking time,
    it's all bunnies, squirrels and mice in my little world!
    One day . . . one day! :-)
