~ Odds and Ends ~

Well 'the foot' needs a rest.
it hurts, is still swollen and now turning colors
~ after breaking the heel a week ago today.
As such,
Peter and I are cancelling our NEEDLE NIGHT here in the farm shop tonight.

I have to get it better for the upcoming Stitching in the Valley retreat this coming weekend!

in other news,
I am still wanting to decorate my farmhouse for autumn,
but am limited of course, because of
'the foot'...

so here is the little bit I have accomplished:
🌜

I'm almost finished on the background of Santa Deer,
and will begin a new design today while elevating/icing this blasted foot.

hoping your day is filled with beautiful Autumnal things!!

Blessings from the Farm

Thank you for the "footnote," Lori! I wrote a much longer comment but somehow it just disappeared...
Your home looks Autumn-ready, from the darling witches to the bundle of whisk brooms in the wall basket.
Time heals all heels...:)...but you must give it that time (my dear mom was always trying to get me to slow down, lol!). Before you know it, your down time will become up time once again!

Love your October decorations. What is the natural colored witch hat made of, I love it? You have a wonderful talent for nesting things together, they look great. Hope your foot gets better. Thank you so much for sharing.
