~ hearts aflutter ~

 Happy Wednesday Friends & Folk!

headache seems to be going away ~ took down Christmas and put out a few 'heart' things...
asmy thoughts are turning to Valentines Day!

Here are a few of my 'heart' inspired needlework designs & folk art
that we have available in our Etsy shop...
{our Etsy shop link is above, under our header photo or click HERE}

how many of you decorate for Valentine's Day?
I have a feather tree up all year that I decorate with small hearts and such...
it's in our dining room and I love the little lights glowing all year long...

I think I'll make some more, done in embroidery & punch needle...

and speaking of embroidery ~
here is Day Four of the
#1yearofstitches project...

I added tiny purple stars around the moon,
and a sprinkling of snowflakes on the right of the storm cloud...
guess I'm going with a weather-related theme for my start ~

Hoping your day is filled with much creativity and things that fill your heart!

Blessings from the Farm ~

Sadly I don't have an 'all year' tree; but love the concept. Sure do enjoy looking at yours and your seasonal changes.

I keep my feather trees out all year…but don't really decorate them except at Christmas. I do like to use various "skirts, " though, one of them being your sweet Civil War reproduction material doll blanket. Love it! Little stitched hearts would be very sweet for February…not only for Valentine's Day, but also for our wedding anniversary…almost 33 years (my, how the time does fly!). Love your tiny stars and snowflakes…the whole theme is lovely...

Love the idea to have it up all year and decorate it for the various seasons or special occasions in your life. YES, I would like more inspirations for hearts. Love visiting, always inspiring.
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Peace for All,
Barb

I keep a small twig tree up all year and put seasonal decorations on it. Like you, I love having the little lights to enjoy all year long. What I am missing are some little prim hearts and I love the ones you have made and shown here.

HAPPY NEW YEAR LORI!
I love all your work - and you produce so much in such short periods of time.
Wish I could do that - maybe if I had a specified room to do it in I would but I work in the main part of the house so most things I work on get put away directly - kind of makes for not wanting to get the mess out again.
I'm hoping to change that this year - I have a little den area I sit in - may have to make it my work space too.
Blessings

I have not yet taken down my Christmas yet...I truly dread the taking down part...and with things always so hectic "before" the holidays, I cherish the couple of weeks after to soak in the twinkling lights...But, yes, I do decorate for Valentine's day... I have many stitched, punched and hooked pieces I put out...and I pull out my heart chocolate molds and such so that they are more prominently displayed. There's just something about a heart that tugs at my heartstrings... ;o) Robin
