~ Blog Hopping ~

 Good {chilly} Morning Friends & Folk ~

today marks my day to play along in

I love wool applique,
{{ well - I love everything and have my hand in it all }}
but I wanted to design a simple, quick project for you
 in my very favorite medium
  wool!

so here is my
Tiny Stocking ~ Wool Applique

and here are your pattern & directions ~
click on the photo below, then save to your computer...
then you can print it out & begin some quiet handwork!

This time of year is so busy for all of us,
especially women ~
 we tend to over-exert ourselves
to make sure everyone we love is happy & content...
but
we sometimes forget that WE need time to recharge
and just plain be good to ourselves.

Needlework is a huge part of my life,
and I take time everyday to work on something ~
... whether it is a small project just for myself
or a new design for you!

I also love {{{LOVE}}} cookies.
they are tiny portable bits of heaven!
all kinds of cookies
~ chocolate chip, peanut butter, apricot thumbprints
pfeffernusse and linzer-tarts.
{yum}

the Peppermint Meltaways below
are simple to prepare and aren't fancy, but they are divine!

~ Recipe ~

This next week will be a busy one for us
 here on the farm ~
remember,
beginning midnight tonight
Cyber Monday in our Etsy shop :)

and if you're in our area on Saturday, December 3rd,
please stop in for some cookies & cocoa
at our ~

~ Blessings from the Farm ~

So appreciative of your sharing your time and talent with us, Lori…most of all, I love your message about taking care of ourselves by taking a little time each day to renew ourselves through our creating and stitchery. Wise lady.

Hi LORI,love your stocking so to-morrow morning I´ll look around in my box with wool. It´s a nice rather quick pattern and it´s so much easier to use wool when stitching so I think I´ll make it in the afternoon. Thank you LORI.
My quiltgroup had a cookie-party this evening, 11 different to taste! and after we shared gifts. So much fun.
Have a nice week. Wish I was able to wisit you at Saturday.

I'm the ultimate "cookie monster"...would rather have cookies than cake or pie anytime & these sound just "buttery-yummy" ~ love anything pepper-minty, my MOST favorite!! YUM-O can't wait to make these! Hope you had a peaceful, reflective & lovely Thanksgiving...now onto the busiest & most *MAgICaL* time of the year! XO ~ Diane
