In Progress ~

Rain rain ~ Go Away!
has it been raining for days at your place?
our ground is like sponge, and even in the colder temps ~
… there are mushrooms sprouting up in our woods!

oh well, make good use of the time & weather…

I'm working on a couple of new
Winter Punch Needle Designs
that will be available as patterns next week for all you
punchers 'out there' ...

this one is called
Polka Dot Angel
and was inspired by PA German folk art from the mid 1800's
{with my whimsical-twist, of course}

I'm using my new Valdani Designer color palette:
"Winter" from Notforgotten Farm
that I had mentioned about a couple of postings ago ~

I will be adding this collection to my Etsy shop along with my others,
'Autumn' & 'Spring'
and will post here & FB when all are released.

So,
here is where you'll find me today.
all day.
sitting by the wood stove,
...watching old movies and punching punching away.
{{sounds like a good day to me!}}
Tomorrow is another story ~ I'll be in the farm shop getting it ready for the
Open House on Saturday!
…still cannot believe it's here ~ already.

Looking so forward to seeing you!

the view from my stitching nest...

...see that vacuum in the picture up there?
yeah me too.
;)

Hoping your day is merry & bright!

It has been raining here since Sunday. My poor doggies run outside and look at me with such sad eyes. I'm sure I heard Woof Woofies telling Snowball that there were alligators in the swamp that used to be the back yard this morning. I love your angel. Maybe she will work her magic and bring us some sun.

Sounds like the best day to me. I didn't even notice the vacuum. I actually had to go back and look for it, I was admiring your beautiful home. Enjoy your day.

Yes--the vacuum jumped right out at me as soon as I got to the page--Oh well the evils of the modern world are always jumping out at us.
Love your room, and your 'stitching nest' looks very comfy!

Good luck on Saturday==wish I lived close enough to be there-

Such a sweet design! And yes, we, too, had rain. rain. rain. for the last four days…almost 10 inches! Today, sunny, bright, and chilly. Spending the afternoon knitting!
