A Wintry Preview & A Limited Edition Pattern ~

Hello Friends & Folk
… and happy monday to you ~

tis another gray-day here at the farm.
a bit cooler than yesterday ~ have been enjoying it when it gets cool..
nothing makes me happier that stitching by our wood stove here in the keeping room!

Here is a preview of
"Winter Fox"
…a soon-to-be-released pattern:

model for Winter Fox
was stitched onto my 32ct Old Farmhouse hand dyed linen
using DMC threads

my beautiful model was impeccably-stitched
by the talented hands of
Beth Wiksen
{thank you my friend!}

… isn't he sweet?
now we're just waiting for the other 2 models to arrive soon,
& then I'll share previews of them ~
I'm hoping for a mid-November release of these and a couple of punch needle designs too.
{this is the latest I've ever released my winter designs and I do apologize!}

~ AND ~

I was recently asked if I could re-release this Limited pattern:
"Civil War Santa"
and being who I am, of course…obliged.

You can find the pattern in our Etsy shop HERE

this pattern combines the cross stitch graph for the little pillow
along with the pattern for the hand stitched santa doll….
you will also include a small hank of sheeps' wool from our beloved Esther for his beard :)

Well I am off to work ~
filling orders, printing & packaging ~ shipping.
I have much linen to dye & many many stitches to make before day's end…

Hoping you all enjoy this wonderful early November day!

~ Blessings from the Farm ~

Oh…I love animal motifs (I have a menagerie all over my house!), and the Winter Fox is very unusual and charming! Civil War Santa has been done beautifully…so sweet and primitive. I just ordered "Jingle All the Way," and now I'm thinking about the Fox…lol! But you can't get too much of a good thing, yes?

We had four baby foxes living under our front porch this year. There are now two left roaming around our property. It's been very exciting for our 7 yr old to watch them grow up. I'll certainly be ordering this pattern to remember our year with them.
