They are returning ~

….oh they do come quietly ~
slipping silently into my thoughts
~ while I'm working in the garden…
or reading…
or washing supper dishes even.

i'm stuffed.

THOSE tiny folk made from loops of thread & snippets of sawdust.
{{{...you know the ones.}}

sometimes a kitten wanting to wear a crone's cap
will beg my attention…
{{and who am I not to oblige?}}

catnip. now please.

or perhaps she would like a ruffled skirt instead
made from a coveted cloth that I've been saving for just the right one?

sometimes though,
...they aren't kittens.

they are 'others' wanting to be brought to life through my needle
…and they chatter at me to resurrect them from my sketchbooks ~

so I do.

sometimes they are pumpkin-folk
who live under our barn and behind the sheep's stall
~ hugging each other with their curling tendrils and leaf-y appendages…
and are always grinning and curious.

and yet again,
some live high in the trees and are watchers
those folk whooo keep a close-eye on the goings on here at our beloved home-place.

I'll head outside today,
with my needle and threads once again ~
and enjoy my quiet Sunday
peacefully content in the company of my many
~ Goode Friends ~

This evening, at approx 6pm
for your sheer amusement & bidding pleasure
~ I will be offering one of my 'friends'
 {no, not Minew}
on Ebay

Hoping you all have a wonderfully creative day my sweet friends!

~ Blessings from the Farm ~
