Wool & Woodsmoke ~

It was so beautiful yesterday…
well in my mind it was ~
soft rain, overcast clouds and chilly.
perfect to me!

We even lit the wood stove to take the chill out of this old farmhouse :)
that was a record, never had it lit in September before!

I took to my wool and started a new little rug:

"Old Tom"

pulling wool through linen

working on the background now ~

my little Hookinpunch© frame comes in handy once again…

little workhorse!

 I just listed 5 more Hookinpunch© frames in my ETSY shop a few minutes ago…
if you missed out yesterday, you can get one now ~

love it

 I'll finish hooking this today, then steam & bind it ~
{{{I have a unique finish in mind for it once I'm done, will share snaps soon}}}

once finished,
this will be available as a paper pattern
~ for YOU to hook :)

~ and ~
DON'T FORGET
that I will be holding a 'Wicked Goode Web Show' RIGHT HERE on this BLOG
this coming SUNDAY (Sept. 28th) at 6:00 pm sharp ~
lots of little Halloweenies coming your way!!

* Blessed be *

Wow! That is gorgeous! And how do you hook so fast? My husband's name is Tom...I think I will have to get that pattern. Maybe needle punch tho, I'm so much quicker punching.
Thanks for sharing, love your pics!

Love the rug under your table, Lori. Colors are great! Is that handmade too (like Tom who is adorable)or a local purchase from a store/shop, you could share? Thanks. ~Christine

You always inspire us Lori. I too love the many faces of fall! It seems we get so many different kinds of days to enjoy before the day to day dreariness of winter. The frame is on my list for Santa to bring me this Christmas

I love "Old Tom". I also have a husband named Tom. Although I would like to do this in cross stitch. The room you were working looks so cozy!
