it's the most Wonderful time….

I am in heaven…
this weather makes me come alive!!!

how can one not feel revived, recharged & rejuvenated?
the cooler temps alone help me to be more creative,
let alone the colors of this Season ~

I take my cues from Mother Nature always…
her color combinations & textures are proven winners for me.

 Of course,
I add my own twist to things around here too,
to help fuel my creativity ~
This FABULOUS flag was a gift from my sister Louisea a couple of years ago…
it proudly flies above my shop high atop the flagpole for all to see my love of Old Hallow's Eve!!

one of my favorite color combinations ~

by the talented hands and imagination of

I will wear this bag proudly ~ for now it holds some sweet annie
THANK YOU Theresa!!

 Another uber-talented friend is
Faye Riggsbee

she gifted me with one of her clever and beautifully finished
Sewing Rolls….

rolls up to hold your work in progress ~ keeping it handy & wrinkle free

I've been toting it around the house lately in my basket :)

How does the change of seasons effect you?
do you become more inspired?

I will be decorating the farmhouse for Hallowe'en in the next few days,
so I'll share pics of my progress….

Have a
*SPARKLING* day my friends!!!

I am definitely inspired by the rusty reds, umber, and golden shades of autumn and the crisp, clean scent in the air.The colors in my paintings will reflect this time of year and cause me to rethink my subject matter... it is a time when acorns and squirrels loom large in my own work. I love the sewing roll and your shop looks like the perfect place to visit on an autumn afternoon.

I thoroughly enjoy this time more than any other...It is my birthday month, and the flowers are just blooming! The temperature is just perfect for walking by the river...yep - the best time of the year ;D

My favorite time of year and Mother Nature is giving us a gorgeous weather week here in N.E. Ohio. What's not to love.
