it's a Zoo ~

Good Morning Friends & Folk!

...here are some snaps of our fur friends enjoying the beautiful,
cool summer weather we're having here in Virginia ~

Lazy & Roxy

Roxy

oh what a beautiful morning….

Ignatious Catt (a.k.a. - Iggy)
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and here are our kittens!
4 mos. old and almost as big as their momma, Minew…
Here is Tiggy ~
a handsome fellow, shy & reserved, but VERY loving and has a motor that never stops!
Here is Boogie Sugar Britches ~
she is a huntress, takes after her momma ~ but LOVEs to play & be cuddled and held...
 and here is Mickey ~
a little devil that is usually a blur running past with his fluffy tail whipping ~ he is a Love Bug.
Here is Momma Minew (Mimi) and Peter ~
she is definitely his cat!!
little lady
they are in love ~
my sweet hubby loves his kitty!
I'll be processing orders that have come in over the weekend today ~
boxing up Hookinpunch© frames
and painting some Old as Dirt© wooden items that have been ordered
 ~ then I will have time to stitch a little ~
Hoping this glorious weather stays with us a bit longer,
Peter & I hayed the fields this weekend ~ almost 200 bales from the first cut of the season…
one more cut will be done before September.
I drive the tractor, Peter hauls the bails onto the big hay wagon…
it is a big green John Deere and I love driving it ~ Peter laughs at me…cause I sing when I drive it.
{{...although the clutch & I are NOT friends, I get by!!!}}
Hoping you enjoy a great beginning to your week my Friends!
* Blessed be *
 Lori
I see it did not take Roxy long to settle in. Kittens photos great, and mamma cat too.
What a wonderful farm life. I envy you the simple life. Sounds Ideal (can you tell I am currently stressed with city living and working in healthcare). More stitching time is what I need. Love your designs Lori. So inspirational.
How Roxy has grown!
She and Lazy look like they've always known each other. (Im sure Buddy has had a hand in that!)
Such sweet kitty babies! It's so fun to see Peter all snuggled up!
Something you may not know about me . . . . I was a farm wife ...very long ago . . . I loved driving the tractor for hay bailing. (Hmmm . . . . except for living in the country it was the best part about that time of my life!) ;-)
I just love seeing all of your pets....so darling!! The picture of Roxy rolling in the grass reminds me of our dearly departed Cleopatra the basset. She would always roll on the grass in yards that had "good grass"!! We always said she was "blessing" those people's yards.
Have a great week!
