They're HERE!!!!!

"…They're Here! They're Here!!!"
...sang Mr. Redbird from the treetops this morning ~

"everyone gather 'round!"

"They're HERE!!!"

"huh…?"

"Daisy, stop eating for one moment and listen…"

Toby & Henny Penny are excited to hear the news!!

….everyone is excited to hear the news!!!
well, except the sleepy Guinea Hens ~

Zzzzzzzzzz…...

Buddy & Lazy standing (sleeping) guard outside the 'maternity ward'…
waiting to hear the news….

'The Bodyguard'

the excitement exhausted them I guess ;)

'Old Faithful Friend'

 at 5:30-ish last evening,
our little Minew gave birth to her first-born…

~ Welcome Little Ones ~

by 10:00 pm-ish
she had finished birthing the last of 4 squealing, squirming catkins!!!
2 white with black markings, and 2 striped mini-Minews :)

sweet little face

a tiny pig-pile

This was Peter's first experience with a pregnant cat,
and the whole wonderful outcome of watching her have her kittens….

a palmful of love...

Have you ever seen a grown man melt?

I have….
(a couple of times)

my gentle husband….

 Thank you Minew,
for allowing us to be a part of your family
...and for gifting us with your friendship ~

Good Mommy

 Sleep tight little ones…
you have a whole barnyard of friends to keep care of you :)

Eeny, Meeny, Miney & Moe?

Hoping your day is filled with many tiny Blessings!!!!

Sweet little ones. I wish my husband was an animal lover. He tolerates our cat and the fact that I feed all the outside kitties and that stray animals seem to find me when they need help. :) I am definitely an animal lover. Have a great day. Tammy

Congratulations mommy, congratulations Peter! I used to sit with my kitty during her birthing, comforting her and petting her softly as she purred and purred and delivered her sweet babies. They are little gems, every one!

Ooooh, so cute! My cats had kittens regularly, and I was midwife more than once. I also box-trained the little ones and weaned them, before sending them to new homes. I miss those happy times!

I loved these sweet pics. I lost my sweet girl a month ago and miss her so. These pics have helped me to remember that life keeps on renewing and made me think that someday soon I will find another furbaby that needs a home and will be a balm to a sad heart. They are the sweetest!
