Wool Applique Class ~

Yesterday (Saturday)
was our wool appliqué class here in the shop ~

...we had a full house and the wool dust was flyin'!!

with the help of Peter, we figured a new seating arrangement
...that I think was a little more comfy for the girls
thanks honey!

My Thanks to Felicia & Joan ~
for always helping me ~ I love you two nuts.

snip snip, stitch...repeat.

tiny little pieces of wool
being carefully placed by nimble fingers ~

busily concentrating on their work:

we were warmed by the woodstove & friendship
and a few hotflashes too! ha!

fueled by a couple of cups of tea ~
the work commenced...

...we ate like Queens,
thanks in part to Peter who made us
Chicken Salad Croissants
Cracker Candy
&
Blueberry Cornbread

and to the girls who brought us Cinnamon Rolls, Pound Cake
& Snacks to help keep our energy levels up!

Minew came in for a visit too...
and we definitely think she is 'expecting'!!!
YAY for kittens!!!!

A wonderful day I had with all of you ~
THANK YOU for coming and for being a part in the fun...xoxoxo to you all !

Below is a little peek at the new designs that will be listed in my Etsy Shop today!

* Blessed be *

What a wonderful gathering of kindred spirits. Too bad it is so far away I'd love an afternoon spent like that.
Kittens you think? How sweet.

Ohhhhh, How I would have loved to have been there. I want so very much to do a wool applique wall hanging. I have a pattern, bought the wool, cut it out and there it all sits. It's like I am afraid to jump off the deep end and am afraid it will become a UFO like some of my other projects.

Lori, your designs are wonderful and your Blog inspiring.
Thanks for sharing, Barb

I know it's terrible of me to say, but I'm soooo jealous! I wish I could come visit and stitch!!! We have no shops like this where I live (way down south in the land of cotton). Oh, well, I will live vicariously through your pictures :)

Love the inspiration I get from your blog and pictures.
