I "rescue" old lace doilies and whitework embroidery...most of them come from flea markets and thrift shops. I also love thimbles, redware pottery, transferware and putz sheep. Oh, and antique crochet hooks.

I love to collect old pitchers, especially blue and white ones. I also have quite a few pieces of salt glaze pottery - all bought at thrift and second-hand stores.
I have shelves full of gardening and English royalty books.
Best of all - I like collecting new skills and ideas from you!!

Love the new color!

Hmmm I used to collect much more than I do now. Not to be depressing, but cleaning out your recently deceased mil's house she has lived in for 55plus years will make you see "stuff" very differently. Will see if it lasts. Lol

wow lori.....what do I collect.....you got me thinking about this one.....since I have been clearing out most of my collections....not sure what I have left....lets see....breadboards, wooden spoons and utensils, rolling pins and wooden bowls....but right now they are all in my storage ara...because I am not sure I want to part with them.....the only I have out are the old bread boards.....I am drooling over your bathroom so far....love how clean and crisp it looks so far.....

If two is a pair and three or more is a collection then I'm in trouble.
I work for an auctioneer so the exposure to 'things' is non-stop.
One must learn self control and realize you can not save every piece of antique lace and fabric from its demise.
I love buttons, old ones Victorian and Edwardian mostly.Especially the tiny ones from a long ago loved child's dress...
If wood for the woodstove was a hot commodity right now, I'd be rich. I'm still on bush cord number 1 with two still left to use.
Stay warm and I love the bathroom...

Loving the bathroom change. Much more cheerful and also calming. Will you share your paint colors with us?
I collect things I find in nature, especially feathers and nests that are blown down. I leave up nests that are in place. The next is project patterns, like from you!

Love your bathroom progress and your collections.

What do I collect? I've collected vintage doilies, hankies, tatted pieces and lace. At one time I had a great collection of agate ware but in moving had to loose that.

Right now I think I'm mostly collecting dust bunnies because I'm way overdue for a vacuuming and dusting.

Roosters, cow's, birdhouses, old cupboards and pie safes.

I guess I like old.. Good thing because I am getting there fast.

Love the color of the bath room. You are lucky to have such a handy, willing husband.

Loving your NEW bathroom! Being an antique dealer I collect lot of prims and when I get tired of them, I have the advantage of selling them and buying something else. Currently I have a few stoneware blue sponge pitchers that will go into our new bedroom redo. Stay warm and your fire looks soooo cozy! Janice

Lori, your bathroom looks so fresh. I collect McCoy pots, McCoy swans, and Aunt Jane of Kentucky books. They are getting hard to find. I am a quilter so I guess my primary collection is fabric. Blessings, Lee
