Hand Dyed Cupboard Cloth now available ~

 In our etsy shop ~
extremely primitive, hand dyed
Cupboard Cloth from ©Notforgotten Farm
(osnaburg)

 www.notforgottenfarm.etsy.com
I thought I'd show you again how beautiful this is ~
I am loving it!
I want to make everything with it now!!!
(lol)

you can see how nice it stitches up if you want to cross stitch on it...
(the sampler shown was stained a little bit after stitching was finished too...just a bit)
...there is a beautiful speckling of the cloth
~ that happens once it has been over dyed...

~ so old looking ~

had a wonderful day in the shop ~ Thank you Miss Joan for keeping me company :)

I put away all of the Hallowe'en items
...in preparation of our simple farmhouse
Christmas Open House

can't wait to decorate now!

* Blessed be *

The cupboard cloth is beautiful. What count is it for stitching? And you MUST reproduce that sampler at the top ...I love it and want to stitch it!

Being new at this... Can you use this for Needle Punching Lori? I LOVE the look of this cloth!

this isn't good for punch needle (needle punch)..the weave is too loose to hold the oops.

It works out to be a 35 - 36 count (over 1) or 16 -18 count (over 2) since it is an uneven weave :)

that should say too loose to hold the LOOPs!

Thanks Lori! I'll stick to your weaver's cloth then. It's lovely nonetheless and I might have to get some to use with some other project! :-)

Lovely cloth. I was using this like crazy in my doll making days. I recently found some rib band made with Osnaburg and did some cross stiching on it. It turned out great. I might have to order some of your prim looking fabric now.
