{ Sunday Stitching }

Waiting for this stalled hot & humid front to pass ~
rain most everyday now,
...even the ants are marching indoors to keep dry.

I'll pass my time in my stitching chair, thankyouverymuch...

Hannah is home for a few days before she begins her Summer classes at college ~
so she grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots of me working on
"OWL O'ween"

I'm stitching the model on my 32ct 'Old Farmhouse' hand dyed linen
using one strand over 2 threads ~

what's that you say?
would I like an icy glass of sweet tea?
yes, please....

...it's a tough job,
but somebody has to do it :)

enjoy your Sunday, my friends!

You look very content! Thank you for saying you use one strand over 2 on 32 count! I recently went back to 32 ct after using 36 ct for years. I like the lok of one strand and it is much easier to stitch with.
Enjoy your day!

Yep...that's about what I'm going to do...sit and stitch! I'm trying to master the art of stitching without a hoop...sick of the up and down of stitching...it takes me forever to do a project! I love your farmhouse linen...but the 28ct....eyes can't find the holes any smaller count! Enjoy your day, Lori!

sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I just finished up a punch needle and should really move to the sewing room to finish up some alterations... we'll see.

Lovely stitching. I can't wait to see this design. So nice that Hannah is taking care of you so that you can keep stitching.
