Hooking Cats ~

I wanted to hook a little before opening the shop this morning...
but
my hooking chair was already occupado ~

oh, hi Ig.

thanks for warming up my chair for me...
would you mind....

um..Ig?

zzzzz.....
 alrighty then.
I'll find another spot to hook.
and speaking of hooking,
and cats,
and spots,
I'm hooking on this spotted cat.

spots and stripes too.

this will become another purse ~

I've picked out the lining fabric and have plenty of old jeans fo rthe backing.

he wears a little red ribbon 'round his wee neck.
I'll share the finish with you as soon as I have it all done...
what are you all working on????

we'll be in the shop hooking today ~ stop on by for a visit :)
and bring your work-in-progress.

Hoping you aren't in for bad weather this weekend ~
we are supposed to get snow/ice mix tonight into tomorrow.

I'm finishing up Big Dog Hollow and will soon start on another antique adaptation. But after seeing your adorable tote and with plenty of jeans which probably don't fit me any more, and wanting to start one for myself.

Loving that cat and can't wait to see it finished.

I love all your hooked designs...anxious to see this kitty finished . My cat is resting on the arm of my chair trying to keep my hands from typing so he can have full attention! I'm sure Iggy wouldn't go that far---LOL!

Prim Blessings,
Martha

Cats always know where the comfiest and warmest spot in the house is, Ig looks very content! Can't wait to see your new purse and hope you don't get too much snow. It is Spring after all!

Oh, I really miss my cats, and I should memorialize them in some way. One was Ivy, a grey tabby, and the other was Pansy, a very petite tortoiseshell. Both had distinct personalities, but I loved them.

I'm going to finish hemming some pants....make a peach cobbler and hopefully do some punchin'. We are getting all the winter mix now......started last night with rain then finally went to all snow this morning. While I'm sure we still need the moisture I'm not enjoying this right now. I'm ready for warmer temps ans sunny skies!
