As promised, just a day late ~

We had our first 'real' snowstorm yesterday...
and as pretty as it was, it knocked our internet & satellite out most of the day & all night.
so I couldn't post as promised...sorry about that!
so without further ado...
here are our

OLD as Dirt Primitives
...from Notforgotten Farm
 (now in our etsy shop)

Our Sewing Trug in Oyster White

shown holding my rug hooking essentials...
(those scissors are big, not your regular sized storks...you can see my hartman hook in there too)

*swoon*

shown holding my punch needle and floss...(see how big those storks are?!!) haha ~

and shown holding my cross stitch supplies...(floss winder/holders are below)

lots of hand distressing and aging on our primitives ~ don't you just love this?
can hold tin cookie cutters in your kitchen, or soaps in your bath, or accompany out to the gargen for some herb-snipping even ~

our early spool-shaped floss winder/holders in oyster, sage & beaver grey...
...these feel so good in-hand and fit nicely in our trug, as seen above.
attention to detail as in all of our work, much finishing on these as well ~ too cute!

~AND~

Small Sewing Coffer or Chest ~ in Farmhouse Porch Green ~ i LOVE this little thing!

I am coming out with a line of punch needle patterns that you will be able to punch, finish & attach to your very own little coffer...working on those today here in the farmhouse!!

showing the lid and comb-painted detailing...wonderful hand-finishing as well ~ looks SO early!

be still me heart...

shown holding my cross stitch needies & old pin cushion ~

...and shwon holding some of my fat quarters ~ ok, I love this thee most :)

detail of the coffer's tiny tombstone-shaped legs and corner ~

beautiful little lid is mad to set nicely inside top ~ just like in the old days ~
These are now available in my etsy shop ~ link is on your right at the top...
We would LOVE to hear your feedback so far as to what you think...is there anything you would like to see us make? do you have a special piece that you would like to have reproduced? do you have certain color preferrences?

Peter is working on Rug Hooking Footrests, and
Punch Needle/Rug Hook boxes with sliding lids today...

I'll share them later if I can!
Blessings from the Farm

What beautiful items. I love to stitch , but have absolutely no gift for working with wood, so I really admire these items. They would look wonderful in my 1823 house.
