FALLing into the Holidays!

I'm working on my 4 new
Winter/Christmas cross stitch designs  ~
as is Miss Flea...
...we are both turning our thoughts to the upcoming Holidays...
little stitches of browns, creams & red ~
always a welcomed change from working on my beloved Hallowe'en items for most of the year...
love my beeswax-star threadwaxer....
I'm working this design on my 30ct.
"Olde Farmhouse Linen" from Notforgotten Farm
~ folky designs tug at my heartstrings ~

I'll share the finished models with you soon ~

Today will be spent finishing this design, then starting another...
I love to work on quick little stitches such as this design ~ not too big, nor too small.
just enought to busy my hands during the hustle-bustle of the season that is just around the corner.

This week I will be heading out to Richmond, VA to pick up Hannah from college!
I haven't seen her in a while, and she hasn't been home since August 18th ~ I miss her SO much
(which is why I haven't mentioned her here on the blog lately ~
i'm still suffering from that empty-nest thing ~ alot more than I thought I would!)
enjoying a little bit of rain today also ~ we do need it and I love rainy October days!!!

Hoping you all have a wonderfully creative day my Friends....

Blessings from Notforgotten Farm...
Lori

Have fun with Hannah... I know you are excited to see her! My 3 daughters went to fairly close colleges, but I was always happy to have them HOME!

Have a wonderful visit with your daughter, I had the same issues when my children left but as they grow they seem to find a way to be closer...like my daughter, she has 8 kids and I now text and facebook with my grandchildren....I love it.
