Punch-Drunk

...yep, that's me lately...
punch drunk.
as in
~ needle punch ~

silly grin
off to Ghoultide Gathering these will go...

not quite finished yet ~
sorry about the blur, 'someone' was attacking my ankles whilst snapping these.

rotten teeth...too much candy corn perhaps?
And speaking of blurry,
I'll be heading off to the eye dr today...I'm thinking about contacts ~
(((or really cool rhinestone encrusted cat-glasses from the 1950's.)))
hmmm...decisions decisions....

want a good laugh?
read the post about my first visit to the eye dr. HERE

I just ventured over and read your post of the eye doctor visit!! OH MY!!!
I am having so much trouble myself. I have been wearing contact lenses since I am 18 years old for distance and have just recently started wearing bifocal contacts. I am having so much trouble seeing to do my stitching. It is really upsetting me :(
I think I am going to have to invest in a magnifier to clip onto my wooden hoop for stitching.
I was almost in tears yesterday trying to stitch..but I have to keep reminding myself how BLESSED I AM to HAVE eyes to see, even if it is with corrective lenses and magnifiers. I am lucky to be able to see!! :)

Blessings to you!

Thought I would die laughing from the eye exam story. I'm writing with new glasses having gone through the same thing you did. My Dr. Doom wants me to hold my stitching right under my nose. Then my new glasses will work!! He says maybe you need tri-focals. WHAT!! I can't see out of bi-focals!! My nose hurts--from glasses. Thinking I may have to go back. UGH. I can see well enough to tell that your punch needle pieces are simply wonderful!!!

I love your new pumpkins and the threads you used, beautiful shades. I got my glasses stolen when our car got robbed, so I need to go back to my eye doc too.

Thanks for the good laugh. I just found out I need cataract surgery on both eyes. I was surprised since I am only 56. I am very apprehensive.....

Oh, after a trying day of teaching with a massive head cold I SOOOO needed to read the eye doctor post! I laughed out loud once, twice, several, oh heck! many times. I have to go on Monday and hope I can keep a straight face!
