Progress ~

a couple of pics of thee latest WIP ~ still haven't named it yet, but it was in my last post...
you know the combined applique*punched*stitched*embroidered* etc* piece ~

as you can see, I've added a few embellishments ~

scissor charms ~

...tiny little skeleton key charms ~ the 'chain' around her waist was stitched by me using kreinik metallic threads...loveLOVE this look ~

I added calico 'flowers' on the vine next to her...embellished again with kreinik metallic threads in olde silver...looks like tarnished tinsel...

stitched her little brrom with DMC 834 & 3021 threads...like the simple look of this ~

Tomorrow I'll finish this piece ~ I'm thinking a sashed/quilted wall hanging will be the finish,
so I'll post then ~ lots of fun had working this piece!

Holy heck...I loved this yesterday when I first saw her, but now I'm at the "covet" level. She is amazing!!! Such intricate - and unique - detailing!!! And, awwwww....a crow! I don't know how you part with any of your pieces, but this one....oh, Lori - this one is one of a kind kind of amazing.... <3 Robin

Very, very cute!! I love all the different embroidery stitches. It would be a great pattern to hook, but you would lose the effects of the stitching! Anne

Stop IT! This is such a fabulous piece! It just keeps getting better. Awesome job on the chain stitch, I thought it was a real chain attached, from the first pic. Great use of the metallic threads.
