~ Gifts ~

after the show on Saturday, Peter & I were cleaning up the grounds a bit
(not that my vendor/friends left a mess, no...not at all they are all very neat & tidy!)
but
Sue & Dorrie did leave behind a few dried cornstalks, husks and dried cow-corn...
(Nocchi & Daisy thought they were getting them but they had enough)

soooo being the frugal one I am I scooped them up and placed some into my trencher on the diningroom table with my gourds & moss...

Thanks for the gifts girls! :)

and here is a beautiful gift from my beloved ~
this beautiful old brass floorlamp with silk & beaded shade....

a bit torn & tattered but oh how I love how she glows...
and her beading is a bit 'off', but then again, so am I ~ a perfect pairing.

she is a gift from my hubby for our upcoming 25th wedding anniversary
(October 3rd)
and it was for sale in Dee's booth here at the show saturday (see last post)
I kept walking around it and admiring it and Dee told me it was her grandmothers' lamp...

Peter bought it for me and I just lovelove it :)

Thank you for the gift, my Sweetheart!

and, this little doll in the picture below wasn't a gift, persay...
but reminds me of the gift of FRIENDSHIP ~

made by Tina of Burlap Owl (see last post again) ~
she sits under the glow of my gifted lamp, surrounded by my 'gifted' corncobs...

Wishing you many small gifts that fill yourt heart today!

Blessings from Notforgotten Farm,
