Teeny, Tiny...Portable, Perfect!!!!!

Hello Friends & Folk!!!
well, if you know me by now at all, you all know how much I love to share things with you...
and, if you are a follower of my work, then you know that I always try to let you know about products that I feel make needlework more fun & easy...

for years now, I have used the Ultra (Cameo) Medium Punch Needle in my work, have taught classes using the needle and tell everyone how wonderful it is.
AND IT IS!!!
but, yesterday I was shopping for DMC floss
in AC Moore in Lynchburg, VA and to my surprise, I found this little punch needle...
isn't it cute??

upon closer inspection, I wondered if the needle was large enough to accomodate all 6 strands of floss, which is how I punch all of my work...

and to my enlightenment, it does!!!

only about 5" long

it does not have a gauge for the needle height, but it is stationary,
{{ I'd say between the #2 & the #3 setting on the cameo needle...perfect for my work!! }}

it comes with two threaders per pack, and I love how it fits in my hand...

will fit nicely in my sewing basket!!!

and here's the website for the needle if you can't find it at your local store:

I have contacted the company, to tell them how happy I am with it!
I just had to share!!!

MANY MANY Thanks to all of you who purchased my linen!!!
all placed orders will ship on thursday (tomorrow) and I am awaiting yet another shipment :)

Blessings from the farm,
Lori

I have seen this needle before and was curious about it! Is it long enough to rest between your thumb and first finger like the cameo does? I have the shorter brass needles I use at times, but they make my hands tired due to the short length...thanks!

Hi Lori,

I have one of those, it came in a kit from JoAnns...never tried it, but I will...I also love using my CTR punch needles. The cameo makes height adjustment so easy, but if you never change it...?? Just curious, how often do you change your cameo needles?..Just like a sewing machine needle, I figure they must dull and need replaced..

Have a great day!..I was going to order some 32 ct linen...no more?

blessings,
Ronda

I've used and sold CRT, I know use and sell Bernadine's #3. (I punch with 3 strands almost exclusively) There is a little extender piece that fits on the end of the needle so it's comfortable in your hand. I don't like CRT or Bernadine's threaders, so I buy the longer Cameo threaders and give them to my students.

Thanks for sharing, Lori. I went to the site right away and they were so inexpensive I ordered 3 so I can have 3 colors threaded at once.
By the way the payment went to Herrschners Inc. so I be they are distributed to gobs of stores. I just love shopping on line cause I don't have to get dressed. lol
Thanks again...Susie

Thanks for the info. I always looked for Cameo and could only find Clover brand here. My Michael's and JoAnn's never even heard of punch needle! Since I'm just starting, this is perfect!

Thanks for the info Lori....Looks like something fun for a play date....I love my Ultra Cameo, and usually punch only with 3 strands, but have been toying with the idea of experimenting with 6.....And, hmmmmm....2-3 setting, really? I usually always stick with the 1.....Always new things to learn! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

I found one at my JoAnn's, but I was sad to come home to realize it doesn't fit 6 strands. :( I wonder if I can enlarge the hole where the floss goes through.
