Colorific !

Hi Friends & Folk!
Hoping you're enjoying what's left of a semi-soggy saturday?
I'm just getting a chance to sit down for a moment and thought you might like to see todays' plunder ~

GOBS of DMC flosses ~

that will be turned into thousands upon THOUSANDS of tiny loops & stitches
as I create new things for the Ghoultide show ~

I chose my color palette of 'drabs' and some 'poisons' too...
I love to work with these colors and rely on them time & again for my work...

I also picked my fabrics that I use for finishing my punched & hooked projects...
I absolutely, postively LOVE each little fat quarter & eight in this new batch!

seriously, what's bettern than playing with wool, fabric and thread?
(oh, ok...chocolate doesn't count)

I'll begin on these tomorrow, as we are tuckered out from walking all over Richmond, VA today...
what a BEAUTIFUL campus VCU has!!!

...I was raised in the suburbs near big cities
(Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford CT ~ with NYC not too far from us)
so I love the 'metro-coolness' of the city...culture beyond belief, awesome architecture and such a diversity of folks ~ WOW! I have been on the farm for so long that I forgot how exciting the city is!

I have a few shots that I'll share tomorrow,
...but for now I'm going to put on a movie, put my sore tootsies up...
... and get to work.

Blessings from the Farm!
Lori
