A Simple Life ~

Good Morning!
here are a few snaps for you:
simple
humble living...

my calico's drying in the morning sun,
waiting to be turned into needful things...

sweet Friends always ready to make me smile...
ot to go for a walk in our beautiful fields ~

plain, not fussy ~ that's for me!
I love the smell of air-dried clothes & linens...

the soft clucking of content hens
is like music to me as I hang the fabric on the lines....

lovely February morning!
cold and crisp
with a *hint* of Spring to come...

yesterday I went pickin' & antiquing with Robin
(millstone mercantile)
we had a great time...
I came home with some goodies
that I will bring with me Saturday to the Fishersville show ~
The rest of today & tomorrow will be busy,
finishing up handmades for the show...packing the van, pricing.
and I REALLY need to clean & spruce up this old farmhouse!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have a beautiful day my friends!!!
blessings from the farm,
Lori
Oh I wish I was there to help you take the fabric off the line! Nothing better than the sweet smell of sunshine and fresh air. I love the colors. Maybe they would let me bring a couple of hens to the office?? It would make things so much more pleasant but I don't think it would go over well.
Blessings my friend,
Sallie
I love the calicos. They look so beautiful out there with nature. Your doggie is so cute. I am glad you had a great time with Robin. How fun to go out with a fellow blogger. -Steph-
