Tuesday Musings ~

Good Morning Folks ~

well remnants from hurricane Lee is upon us...
HEAVY rains last night, high winds and more rain for almost the rest of this week.
it is a cool-yet-damp 67 degrees, and it surely feels like an autumn day.
I think I'll make a pot of sausage & peppers for supper....

I went to Michaels over the weekend and bought some new

Prisma Art Pencils to add to my stash~

I love their colors and how I can achieve so many different looks with them :)

whenever I'm in Michaels, I HAVE to go down the sale aisle...
I always find something i can't live without down that aisle
(I can hear you agreeing with me!)
SO I had to buy these ribbons:

I LOVE love wired ribbon, so I grab it up when the price is reduced!
(I especially am fond of the polka-dot ribbon on the top of the tower)
I use it on my dolls, to hang pinkeeps, and for tying tags....
so much ribbon, so little time.

and here is what i doodled yesterday ~
"Salem" (not finished completely, needs more vines)

and
"Vigil" (almost completed)

yes, both are wonky ~ but hey,
they're hand drawn :)

not sure what I'll do with them...
prints pehaps? or maybe new notecards?

I have three others in rough draft that I'll share soon...

well, I'm off to town...banking & to the po.

hoping your day is lovely despite the weather!

Blessings from the Farm...
Lori

You have some amazing talents there, Miss Lori!! When I doodle, I end up with squiggles -- your doodles are wonderful works of art!!
We are getting rained upon here in NJ, too. A good day to stay in and stitch!!
