What's next????

Good Morning Friends & Folk!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...the stems are finished on my little potted plant...
I had stitched a partial flower (suggested motif)
but I mis-stitched and had to pick it out....
...blech.
I hate that.
SOooo,
then I got to thinkin'
(uh oh.)
instead of flowers,
me thinks perhaps acorns, pumpkins or berries
I'll stitch instead...
not sure yet...
I've sketched up all three,
and all three look good.
Hmmm,....
combine them says you?
brilliant.
consider it done.
Then the stitching will commence once again ~
after the laundry & farmyard chores...
our hens have been laying plentiful these last few days...
I am gifted with 5 or 6 big brown eggs everyday.
...scrambled up with garden tomatoes
and a pinch of sea salt & dash of freshly ground pepper
simple. satisfying. summertime.
our peacock, Billy has begun to shed his tail feathers again~
so I am collecting them everyday, too.
long, wispy spires of irredescent fringed eyes...
& small, jewel-toned arches of brilliant blue, gold, green & purple.
Getting ready for Stacy's class on Saturday
(I truly cannot believe it's here already!)
fixing & fussing in the shop &
here's our Farmhouse Lunch menu:
Fried Chicken
German Pototato Salad
Pasta Salad with Fresh Herbs
Corn Muffins
Biscuits
Sweet Tea/Lemonade
Cookies
Hoping you all have a wonderful day,
remember to take some time out for yourself!!
Blessings from the Farm...
Lori
I too have been starting to stitch for our Autumn challenge...it's been a great distraction for me right now to design & lose myself in needle & thread. Wish I could be at the Stacey Nash class, what a joy that would be! ~Kriss~
