Goode Things ~

Greetings Friends & Folk!

yesterday Robin (Millstone Mercantile) & I went shopping!
we (she) drove us out to Bedford, Roanoke & Salem VA.

we went to
Old Mill Primitives
Two Peas in a Pod
Charlotte's Web
&
Buy the Seasons

here's what I bought....

a black tree
a wooden trug
a patchwork heart pincushion
a black sheep doll
some wonderful raw linen
& an orange & white crocheted doily...

...and here's what I did with the black tree & orange and white doily!!

this tree will now proudly stand, year-long, in the shop...
it is decorated with models (not for sale) lovingly stitched by Felicia
from bits and parts of different designer's patterns ~

here's one that I turned into a pocket to hold drieds...

here is a side-view of some Prairie Schooler and Homespun Elegance designs...

this one I've made another little pocket and tucked in dried yarrow
and my spider-web scissors...
I've also hung my witch-scissors and some other scissors for fun!

I finished it off by tucking in some dried moss
and then wrapping a poppy-colored chenille trim as garland ~

I love how it turned out...
what do you all think?

Thanks Robin,
for a fun day filled with Goode Things!!!

I'll be working in the shop today,
after I run errands...

time is Fast Approaching for the class on Saturday &
I CAN'T Hardly wait!!!!!!!

have a *Sparkling Day*...

Blessings from the Farm...
Lori
