Sunny Thoughts ~

Hi Folks!

...aren't my Black Eyed Suzies BEEautiful????

I was putzing in the garden this morning...camera in hand
and snapped these sunny pics ~

here they are mixed in with the flowering Hosta,....

and here are some pics of how I'm displaying the new
Gentle Art Sampler Threads
&
Gentle Art Shaker Threads
in the shop ~

I've hooked them to both sides of a free-standing screen door
in the center of the shop...
the pic above are the Sampler Threads,
the pic below show the Shaker Threads
and the Kelmscott Needle Minders...

...it's like a garden of threads indoors!!

I'm always looking for different & unique ways to display
things in the shop...
all of the needlework patterns are on antique clip-racks
once used to hold snacks in little grocery stores,

or vintage rounders that I can hang packaged linen from ~

speaking of which,
I just got in new linens from Wichelt ~
Lambswool
Antique Copper
Natural Brown
and,.,...well I can't remember the other!

I have the following designers' charts coming into the shop too:
Black Bird Designs
Chessie & Me
Prairie Schooler
The Primitive Needle
and many more!!!

Since we really don't have a good local needlework shop in the area,
I'm trying to bring in alot more 'stuff' for us stitchers!
will be open tomorrow if you want to stop by for a visit ~

well, folks, have to soak this hot-flash-baked body in the nice cool tub for a while...
then I'll find my ice-cream and stitching!

Hoping you all have a Happy & SAFE July 4th holiday weekend!

Blessings from the Farm...
Lori

Looks great Lori! Wish I could come stitch with you. And by the way, my Little Hands, Little Stitches booklet came the other day and is just as sweet as can be. Thank you!

You always have such great displays in your shop! The threads look like jewelry hanging there just waiting for an eager hand to reach for a strand! Your flowers are beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing! Have a great holiday weekend!
