Mary Snow ~

Stitching on Mary Snow's Sewin Pocket....
&
dreaming of cooler weather!!

today, tomorrow & saturday will reach 100 degress,
with the heat indexes feeling about 106-110...

...NASTY.
I just don't do well in this heat...I have a tendancy to pass out in it.
(oh, YAY.)

never have been good with heat...
I guess my Northern blood still isn't used to this Southern heat!

Tomorrow we set up for Saturday's
Summer in the Valley Show ~
it will be a scorcher, for sure....
but looking forward to seeing old & new friends
and wonderful primitive things!!!!

be careful out there today....

and hopefully will see some of you Saturday!

Blessings from the Farm...

Lori

It is 100 here also, and I'm like you I don't do heat very well. I walked to my mail box and and it just takes your breath away.

Hey, I just thought too... if you have electricity near your booth... why not pick up one of those misting fans at the store? You and your shoppers would LOVE it! :)

Ugh. I couldn't handle that kind of heat either. And since we are at a whopping 58 degrees here today (and raining!), I'll turn on my vacuum, and you turn on your fan, and together, perhaps we can get 10 or 15 of your degrees to move this way?

The heat is horrible even for someone who has lived in VA all her life...make sure you drink plenty of water! Good luck with the show!

Even out here in the west where we frequently have hundred degrees, we are horrified at how hot you guys in the east are. Hydrate, hydrate! We NEVER go anywhere without water. Let's hope that you and everyone else that's suffering get a cool down soon. Mary A
