Wednesday Musings...

WELL.....
...the rains have come as predicted,
and it is a wonderful day to cozy up the old farmhouse
before I sit down to stitch...
here are a few snaps of my favorite things....

an earless steiff cat, old sewing hoops, some bobbins and an old photo
gather in a scraped wood trug...

a welcome message!

an old green easter basket filled with dried gourds from the garden,
sticks, hay & feathers...I've tucked in early Easter postcards too ~

the front of our Keeping Room
note the twig table...it was on my porch for years
and now it looks swell next to my sewing chair ~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will be off to run errands this morning,
then it's stitching-time :)
Tonight is the dress rehearsal for Hannah's school musical
"HAIRSPRAY"
she is first-flute in the pit orchestra again this year...
can't wait to see the kids in their costumes!
going to our local high school for a night out with family & friends
beats going to Broadway any day!!!!
wishing you a day filled with fun, laughter
...and music ~
Blessings from the Farm...
Lori
Hi Lori,
I love the spring decorating. How do you keep the kitties out of your baskets of treasures? That is one problem that I can't seem to resolve, they seem to like the same things I do but usually as toys?
Blessings,
Sallie
I agree about the high school shows. My son was big into drama in high school and went into theater in college. I just loved watching him and all his friends act, sing, and dance. Such fun. Lovely decor, btw!
Good luck to your daughter with the show!
Thanks for sharing the pics. Sure am sorry I can't come to the punchneedle class Sat. I have a question for you and any others who would be willing to share, do you use any special light and hoop for needlework? If so, what do you recommend? My eye sight is not as "young" as it used to be and I need some help. Thanks for any suggestions.
