Yesterday,
Felicia & I went to the
Factory Antiques Mall
in Verona, VA ~

the place is SO big, there is a restaurant inside!
we found LOTS of goodies for the shop
{and for ourselves :) }
& i'm talking good,
old fashioned, country farmhouse/primitive stuff!
woohoo!!!

and as soon as I have the shop arranged,
I'll share pics with you of the new, OLD stuff!

Speaking of arranging the shop ~
have you read Robin's blog yet:
www.millstonemercantile.blogspot.com
and have heard her great news?
she's opening up her own shop again
...and I couldn't be happier for her!

in the meantime,
she will be gathering up all of her goods from my shop here
and moving them to hers...
which includes the front counter as well as a couple other bigger pieces...
SO
that means, I'll need a new front counter!
and
Peter has already begun working on what will be thee best designed,
combination front counter/fabric cutting counter
ever!

we will be rearranging the shop (again!!)
to accomodate more classroom space and room for fabric bolts...
the new counter will be situated in front of the office door,
to better access the office/copy area
and to use up 'wasted spaces" that will let me actually
have more room for retail & decor space..

a new year & a new look
~ farm fresh and clean
plain & simple...

I'm so excited for the change...it is always a good thing!

Blessings from the Farm...
Lori
